Benefit Shoot, Gun Raffle & Auction

For Michelle & Lee Tebbutt

June 13th, 2009   9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Recently Michelle Tebbutt was diagnosed w/aggressive cancer.  A benefit gun raffle and shoot has been organized to help offset some of the costs brought on by this.

Lee Tebbutt has done a LOT to the Shooting Sports in NE Kansas, helping to organize and participate in the Kansas Traditional Muzzleloading Assoc., Double Tap DSC IDPA, Friends of NRA Tall Grass Chapter, Local Kansas CCH Instruction, and much much more.  As Lee admits none of this would have been possible without Michelle’s help and support.  We would like to give back to him & his wife, we are encouraging any and all who feel so led to help us out.

The Gun Raffle and Benefit Shoot will be at the Defense Midwest range near Wamego, KS www.defensemidwest.com.  Their range is located east of Wamego on US 24 then 1 mile North on the Onaga Road, back east 1 mile +/- on School View Road then back south on Peddicord Road.   Watch for the signs on the day of the event.

Shooting for the day is still being evaluated and will vary due to crowd size but should include a few IDPA COF's, possibly and open range area, a .22 shooting gallery, lots of steel plates and poppers, some side by side competitions and maybe a carbine shoot (again depends on crowd).

Up for raffle are three firearms and a variety of accessories.  Tickets are $10.00/each, or 6 for $50.00.  Raffle tickets are available immediately by contacting Andrew Couchman at mastermower@msn.com, or in Manhattan at Flint Hills Powersports on East Highway 24, and will also be available to purchase at check-in on the day of the event.
